There is a different enthusiasm among people regarding Navratri. The atmosphere around becomes devotional. Chaitra Navratri 2022 begins from the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. Ghatasthapana is performed on the first day of Navratri. And at the same time, the Shailputri form of the mother is worshipped.

Ghatasthapana will be done on the first day of Chaitra Navratri. The auspicious time of Ghat establishment will be on 02nd April from 08:04 am to 08.29 minutes, Choghadiya of auspicious will be there. The total duration is 25 minutes.

Do Chaitra Navratri Ghatasthapana like this

1. On the first day of Navratri, take a bath early in the morning and wear clean clothes.

2. While cleaning the temple, purify it with Gangajal and decorate the temple with flowers and lights. Invite all the deities in the worship. And most importantly before doing Ghatasthapana, worship Lord Ganesha.

3. Spread red colored cloth on a post near the temple.

4. Make a pile of Akshat in the middle of the post and set up a Kalash on it.

5. Make a swastika on the Kalash and tie a moli on its upper end. After this, put whole, betel nut, coin, lump of turmeric, durva, akshat and mango leaves in the urn.

6. Take a raw coconut and wrap the chunri on it. Keep this coconut on top of the Kalash.

7. After this, invoke the Mother Goddess. Worship the Kalash with incense-lamp and after that worship Maa Durga and offer her Bhog.

Red cloth, chowki, urn, kumkum, red flag, betel nut, camphor, barley, coconut, nutmeg, clove, batash, mango leaves, kalava, banana, ghee, incense, lamp, incense sticks, matches, sugar candy, flame, Clay, earthen pot, a small chunari, a big chunari, the items of adornment of the mother, the idol or photo of the goddess, necklace of flowers, Upala, dry fruits, sweets, red flowers, Gangajal and Durga Saptashati or Durga Stuti etc.
